Impromptu Trip to Zions

My Mom came to visit the end of October...
We decided to make a trip to St. George and
on the way we decided suddenly to go to Zions National Park.
We stopped at the store and got lunchables for a picnic lunch.

The sun was in the poor girls eyes for this pic...

We rode the bus or tram or whatever it's called into
the main canyon "the refrigerator" and at the top
we got out and walked over to a place
where you could go right up to the river.

My Mom holding a sleeping Ashellia
in front of the little waterfall.

It was here that I managed to take a few pictures
that made me feel like a professional photographer.
Unfortunately I only  have time to post a couple...
This one was cool, I noticed the trees on the ledge
and the closer trees just framed it perfectly.

This is my favorite.
Emmalyne kept trying to tell me to "Come on."
With her looking back I finally managed
to get the picture I was going for.

I think sometimes it's the unexpected detour that can
result in the most treasured memories.

Dancing

Laurana did some way cute dancing with her Uncle Devan
Thursday at my sister, Angela's business' open house.

Check out their blog

Keep watching for pics of my girls wearing the accessories too!

I Caught a Smile!

I caught Ashe's smile with my phone camera the other day...
had to lighten it up but it works.

Random Fun

Ashellia's Blessing

Ashellia Bonnee Joyce was blessed on September 7th.
I was delighted that some of my family
was able to come for it.
My Mom and Dad,
my youngest brother Cody
and my oldest brother
Justin and his wife, Lori and their 4 kids
Mark did a wonderful job with the blessing.
I don't remember what all was said
but one of the things that has
continually stuck out in my mind is
the blessing of health
and that she will be able to overcome
any illnesses that she might get.

Ashe wore the same dress that Eme had worn for her blessing.
The headband was a different one though.

So pretty in white!

My three girls.

A New Home

We moved to Cedar City in the middle of August. It's gone rather well over all... It was a bit of an adjustment for the girls. Emmalyne has adjusted pretty well but Laurana really had a hard time for awhile there. Sometimes I think that little Ashellia hasn't quite accepted this new place as her home and so is a little unsettled at times. Mark is doing pretty good considering he'd never wanted to live here again. I'm doing alright, very happy to have my mother in law's help with the girls. She keeps saying that it's not much but the truth is even a little bit goes a long way right now and its more help than I'd had for a long time. I don't really have any friends here yet... so I miss my friends from Arizona and various other places... at least my Utah Valley friends are a little bit closer now. ^.^
